Founded in 1974, The Ipswich and East Suffolk Branch is one of around 200 in the UK and meets every few weeks to discuss matters around local pubs, breweries and real ales. We also jointly organise the Ipswich Beer and Cider festival and Real Ale Runabouts, as well as supporting the Festival of Beer and Brewing at the Food Museum in Stowmarket. We also arrange various social events throughout the year.
