The Bull is an impressive timber framed, Grade II listed, 16th century town centre hotel with a much later facade and which includes a refurbished bar and restaurant. The bar serves six cask ales, three regular and three changing, the latter with a focus on East Anglian brewers. The menu includes various fresh, local and seasonal ingredients plus ever popular Sunday roasts. The Bull has been awarded Urban Pub of the Year 2026 by CAMRA's Ipswich and East Suffolk Branch. entrance is via an archway into our the car park immediately to the rear of the property on New Street.
