The Cricketers is large town centre "Tolly Folly" pub opposite the Tower Ramparts bus station, operated by JD Wetherspoon. It is poplular with cask ale drinkers. It has various seating areas around a central bar and kitchen and is popular at most times of the day. Externally there are patio areas to the side and rear. There are regular Wetherspoons beer festivals. The pub has an accessible toilet . The pub accepts the usual 50p per pint discount for CAMRA members with production of a voucher.
